════════  🎞️ ABOUT THE GAME 🎞️ ════════

Keep Breathing was made by four dedicated women/non-binary people for the Toxic Yuri VN Jam 2, set in an imaginary town in South of France.

Our game focuses heavily on character development and narration, which have been our priority during development. The story is voluntarily down-to-earth and credible. It shows that domestic and sexual violence don’t have to be visible to cause trauma and how thin the line between healthy relationships and abuse can be.

  

You play the game as a woman preying on vulnerability. The kind of people we sometime meet, when we’re at our worst. This point of view makes the story really dark and unsettling.

The presence of the supernatural and anthropomorphic lightens things up, just enough to breath during this dive in the ocean of abuse and cruelty.

In the end, Keep Breathing tells the story of those you hurt, the ones doomed to silence, guilt, shame, trauma and despair.

The ones we don't listen to.
